Four Dreams

Human Fiction Tartini presents EVANESCENT CONTINENTS, a new project launched in collaboration with "Feast of Listen" Issue 10 of Shoppinghour Magazine. The project is based on an ephemeral amassing of sounds. We present the listener with a momentary evanescent continent, a shared sonic landscape bound to temporal rather than spatial existence. X Marks the Bökship in London hosted an evening of collective listening on 17th Oct 2013, featuring the sharing of new compositions by Chris Wood and Mikatsiu. These pieces were built from recordings submitted from all over the planet. These are human fictions built from the detritus of existing sounds. Four Dreams was realised with Human Fiction Tartini as the result of an open call for recordings. The received recordings were edited into this new piece, debuted in a listening event at X Marks The Bökship in October 2013. The project is based on an ephemeral amassing of sounds. We present the listener with a momentary evanescent continent, a shared sonic landscape bound to temporal rather than spatial existence.
